Northstar worked with Boston Properties to manage and deliver an interior build-out project for IDG’s new Needham office featuring over 600 workstations and offices, a podcast room, two recording studios, and training rooms with operable partitions. As the owner’s project manager, Northstar oversaw the project’s budget and schedule while also playing a vital role in developing the project governance structure and accompanied move management as IDG was consolidating three business units into one new space. This project was designed and delivered in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic and faced many challenges. With Northstar’s help, IDG’s new office space was completed on time despite new onsite safety protocols and close management of building materials and was completed in a short 6 months.
