Bulger Veterinary Hospital, an Ethos Veterinary Health facility, relocated their practice, including a 24- hour emergency department, from North Andover to a new state-of-the art facility in Lawrence. The new hospital includes a 24-hour emergency department and is part of a 3-parcel development.
Northstar was hired by the developer, 141 Winthrop Ave LLC, to lead the permitting, entitlement, signage, and core-and-shell design and construction for the first two buildings – the hospital and a Starbucks. As an intermediary, Northstar guided lease review and negotiations between the developer and Ethos. This provided objectivity, separation and full representation for Ethos and the developer, who is also CEO of Ethos. Northstar then managed Bulger’s interior design, construction, FF&E procurement, relocation planning and occupancy. Separately, Northstar assisted the developer with both lease negotiations for Starbucks and core and shell construction oversight.
