Jim Hogan

Associate Vice President

Jim has 13 years of experience working in the real estate industry, with expertise in project management, construction administration, and structural engineering. He focuses mainly on ground-up office and residential buildings and tenant improvement projects.

With Northstar, Jim has completed a 17-story ground-up mixed-use office tower in Kendall Square, a renovation of the MBTA Kendall Square/MIT MBTA Headhouse, and provided equity advisory services for ground-up residential developments on the East Coast.

Prior to joining Northstar, Jim completed several signature mixed-used developments of up to $220 million in the Seaport District of Boston.
Jim received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Outside of work, he enjoys skiing and hiking. Jim currently serves on the Wakefield Planning Board, is a former president of the Rotary Club of Downtown Boston, is an Eagle Scout, and an ex-Rugby player.
