Northstar Celebrates Cameron Feeley’s 5-Year Anniversary

Cameron Feeley is a Project Manager with more than five years of experience in the construction and real estate industry. She’s known for bringing a thoughtful, collaborative approach to her work and has supported clients across residential, transportation, R&D, and commercial real estate industries.

During her time at Northstar, Cameron has worked on a variety of projects, from occupied residential renovations and façade restorations to R&D build-outs and real estate studies. She has developed expertise in sustainability, security upgrades, and façade restorations, while continuing to grow her experience across the broader construction and real estate industry.

Today, Cameron is serving as Project Manager for Harvard University Housing’s 100 South Campus Drive housing project in Allston. The ground-up 13-story, 276-unit multifamily project features a 75-space below-grade parking garage, a free-standing bike pavilion, amenity spaces for university affiliate residents, and a premium faculty director’s residence. The project also features a high-performance envelope and high-efficiency mechanical systems to support its sustainability goals, including Passive House and Living Building Challenge Core. Construction is complete, and the building is nearing full occupancy.

For Cameron, the project has been especially rewarding because she has been involved from planning through construction, managing innovative sustainability strategies from concept to reality. “Seeing the design team collaborate to problem-solve and achieve ambitious goals, and now watching those decisions take shape, makes this project meaningful,” she says. “With these sustainability practices in place, the building will use less energy and provide a more comfortable living environment for future residents.”

Over the past five years, Cameron’s approach to leadership has been shaped by the many experienced women at Northstar who have inspired her to take on greater responsibility. “Watching them lead with confidence while navigating complex teams and decisions has pushed me to take on greater responsibility myself,” Cameron says. “They’ve shown me that leadership in construction does not have to look the same for everyone.”

Beyond her project work, Cameron serves on Northstar’s intern recruitment committee, supporting student outreach, internship programming, and the development of the next generation of project managers in the AEC industry. Through Northstar’s partnerships with the Professional Women in Construction Boston Chapter and Haley & Aldrich, Cameron has participated in student poster sessions at Roxbury Community College, Codman Academy Charter Public School, and UMass Boston. These sessions provide an opportunity to discuss the role of an OPM and to share real-world project examples with students considering careers in the industry.

Cameron’s commitment to mentorship and community goes beyond her work at Northstar. She is a synchronized skating coach at the Skating Club of Boston and is a former synchronized skater herself, having competed for the USA National Team, The Haydenettes.

Cameron’s advice to women considering a career in commercial real estate reflects the approach she has taken throughout her own career: “Your perspective is invaluable, so do not hesitate to share your ideas.” She encourages others to seek out mentors who can guide and advocate for their growth, build relationships early, and remain confident and curious. “Confidence and curiosity will take you far,” she says, “and seeing how your work directly shapes communities makes the experience both motivating and rewarding.”

Cameron holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a minor in Business Administration from Northeastern University and is a member of CREDA Developing Leaders.
