Major Milestone for Northstar’s Longest Serving Employee, Lee Phelps Retires

July 2022

Lee began working with Northstar’s leadership over 25 years ago and worked in the real estate industry spanning 7 decades. 

When Northstar Project & Real Estate Services doors opened, Lee was one of the first full time employees to join the team. As a start-up company, Northstar benefited from his expansive resume starting as a union carpenter and working his way up the management ranks to an Owner’s Project Manager.  

Lee brought a wealth of knowledge and provided incredible mentorship to both junior and senior members of our team. During his 11+ years of service at Northstar, Lee played a critical role on our Harvard University Housing account. His presence on projects always provided our clients confidence that sites were safe, productive and the quality of the construction exceeded expectations. Lee’s exceptional client service, jovial personality and willingness to always lend a hand will be missed.
