August 2018
Congratulations to Harvard University Housing on the completion of Phase 2 at the Soldiers Field Park apartments in Allston.
The second phase of a four phase renovation at Harvard University Housing’s Soldiers Field Park Apartments in Allston has successfully secured Certificate of Occupancy. The comprehensive renovation of the 115,000 square foot, 133 unit graduate student apartment building is the second phase of a four phase, multi-year renewal program for the 470 unit complex. The project is valued at over $230 million with an anticipated completion late summer 2021. The renovation features an anticipated LEED gold certification for all four phases, full renewal of interior and exterior systems and finishes, and creation of over 15,000 square feet of shared amenity space. The building opened to a rave reception from residents and stakeholders. The project team includes Elkus Manfredi Architects, Shawmut Design and Construction, NV5 mechanical engineers, Jensen Hughes life safety engineers, CRJA landscape architects, and Northstar Project & Real Estate Services. The third phase of this project will commence in September.
