September 2024

Northstar proudly celebrates Lisa Bagshaw’s 10th anniversary.

Lisa, a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience, has been part of Northstar’s success over the past decade. As an owner’s project manager (OPM), she has been involved in many projects, including tenant interiors, new construction, and renovations. Her expertise and strategic vision have been instrumental in delivering complex projects that meet client expectations and industry standards.

Lisa’s notable achievements include her current involvement in the expansion of Werfen’s Bedford campus. This ambitious project involves the construction of Building 4, adding 118,000 square feet of cutting-edge lab and office space and 190 essential parking spaces. This new facility will play a crucial role in Werfen’s research and development activities, contributing to the company’s growth and innovation in its product lines. The expansion is expected to create over 300 high-quality professional jobs, including scientists and engineers, further bolstering the local economy and supporting Werfen’s long-term objectives.

Lisa has built a diverse career across various sectors, including biomedical, education, energy, technology, and food services. Her extensive experience in strategic planning, project management, and operational oversight has enabled her to deliver exceptional results in these fields. Her role in advising organizations on profitability improvement, business expansion, and site development has established her as a trusted consultant and industry leader.

Lisa’s journey in the commercial real estate and construction industry has been marked by overcoming significant challenges. When she first began her career, Lisa was one of only a few women in her civil engineering class at Villanova University. Today, Lisa is proud to see greater gender diversity on job sites, with female engineers, project managers, superintendents, foremen and laborers becoming more common, reflecting a positive shift in industry attitudes.

Outside of her professional accomplishments, Lisa is deeply committed to community engagement, focusing on improving education and civic involvement. She dedicates time to various initiatives that support educational advancement and community development. Additionally, Lisa enjoys a range of personal interests, including skiing, golf, and cooking. She values quality time with her family, balancing her demanding career with a fulfilling family life.
As Lisa celebrates her 10th anniversary with Northstar, her leadership is evident in the projects she has led and the positive changes she has championed within the industry.

Northstar extends its congratulations to Lisa for a decade of outstanding contributions to the firm and looks forward to the continued impact.
