Celebrating a Decade of Excellence: Natasha’s Journey with Northstar

July 2024

Natasha Marcuard’s journey with Northstar exemplifies her dedication, leadership, and passion for her owner’s project management profession and community. As we celebrate her 10th anniversary with the company, we reflect on her remarkable achievements and her enduring impact on Northstar and beyond.

Natasha joined Northstar with over seven years of professional architectural experience and a Massachusetts architectural license. She has been involved in various projects, including higher education dormitories, office interior fit-outs, master planning support, feasibility studies, and pharmaceutical lab fit-outs in Greater Boston and Providence. Since joining Northstar, Natasha has overseen projects through all phases of planning, permitting, design, construction administration, and closeout. Her career at Northstar has been marked by continuous growth and success. Starting as an Assistant Project Manager, she quickly demonstrated her capabilities and was subsequently promoted to Project Manager, then Senior Project Manager, and now holds the distinguished position of Vice President | Shareholder. This progression reflects her expertise, hard work, and her ability to lead and inspire her teams.

Natasha’s leadership extends beyond Northstar; she embodies the company’s culture and values. She fosters an environment that encourages open communication and embraces diverse perspectives to find the best solutions. Her leadership is characterized by promoting continuous education, receptiveness to constructive criticism, ethical behavior, and ensuring an enjoyable journey for everyone involved.

Her contributions to the A/E/C industry and her community are significant. She is an active member of the Diverse Holliston – HolliPride planning committee, working to amplify the visibility of Pride Month and create a safe and welcoming environment for Holliston residents. As a Building Trustee for UUAC First Parish in Sherborn, she has led several initiatives, including installing audiovisual equipment for virtual participants and improving accessibility within the community space.

Equity and Diversity Sum

Natasha is a relentless advocate for women in the A/E/C industry, consistently working to create a more inclusive and supportive environment.  Her drive to serve and improve her community is unwavering as she is actively involved in Professional Women in Construction, where she plays a pivotal role as the DEI Co-Chair, championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Her dedication and leadership were recently recognized through her election to the PWC Board of Directors as the VP/President-Elect, showcasing her commitment and impact in the industry. One of Natasha’s greatest joys is mentoring female colleagues early in their careers. She reminds them that their voices matter and encourages them to ask questions and be authentic. Observing women she has mentored excel in their careers brings her immense joy.

Natasha’s passion for fitness and philanthropy shines through in her participation in triathlons benefiting Maine’s Cancer Foundation, with an upcoming event just weeks away. When she’s not fundraising, you can find Natasha on the sidelines of the soccer field, cheering on her two children and sharing their enthusiasm for the beautiful game.

As Natasha celebrates her 10th year with Northstar, we look forward to her continued leadership and the positive impact she will undoubtedly make in the future. Her journey is a shining example of what can be achieved with dedication, passion, and a commitment to making a difference.
