Northstar Volunteering for Habitat for Humanity Build Day

Team Northstar may be well-versed in navigating construction sites, but our role doesn’t usually involve wielding a hammer, using a saw, or measuring and doing the actual building.
On a cool fall morning, members of the Northstar team had the opportunity to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston.
Our tasks on this day were installing ceiling strapping and framing interior partition walls for bedrooms, bathrooms, and hallways. It was an enriching experience to provide an opportunity to contribute in the field.
Participating in Build Day was not only fulfilling but also allowed our team to give back to the community by playing a small part in constructing homes for families in need.
