Harvard University’s Soldier’s Field Park Building 3 Renovation Achieves LEED Gold Certification

Northstar Project and Real Estate Services is pleased to announce that Harvard University Housing’s Soldiers Field Park Building 3 was recently awarded LEED Gold for Commercial Interiors by the USGBC.

The comprehensive renovation of the 115,000 square foot, 133 unit graduate student apartment building is the second phase of a four phase, multi-year renewal program for the 470 unit complex. The project features replacement of all windows with new thermally broken windows with significantly improved thermal performance, use of Energy Star appliances throughout, use of energy efficient LED Lighting, use of low flow plumbing fixtures, and many other sustainable features. In addition, the project has exceeded the University’s goal for the use of heathier building materials.
