Lou has over 25 years of project, operations, and facilities management experience in the life sciences, manufacturing, and commercial sectors. His key accomplishments include overseeing over 500,000 SF of office & lab expansion and relocation programs, leading 10+ consolidation projects & facility shutdowns, and managing operations of a 24/7 research facility. Lou has led projects and directed all planning, design, procurement, and construction activities for optimizing CapEx and OpEx to meet project scope, costs, and schedule. His expertise includes large scale move planning & management, facility transitions, lab planning & management, equipment decommissioning, design/build “fast-track” projects, and real estate strategic planning & renovations. Prior to joining Northstar, Lou has worked at Sanofi Genzyme for 20 years where he held the position of Director of Engineering & Facilities and Principal Project Manager.
