Jon Lannan
Vice President, AIA, CSI, LEED AP BD+C
With over 35 years working in design & construction, Jon’s career began as a teen in the mountains of Colorado setting concrete forms and tying rebar for the Breckenridge Hilton. Working in the capacity of a registered Architect, his professional aspirations have taken him to Boston, then Manhattan and back to Boston.
Since his tech corporate campus days during the dot-com boom, the majority of his work has been mixed-use urban high-rise with complex land use issues: mass transit abutters, air rights, harbor frontage, and complicated foundations. Jon still keeps his hard skills sharp as an early adopter of new tech and that extends to his musical preference- a lot of EDM and Chill.
When not in the office or a site, he is on a Blue Bike in between. On weekends you will find him on water or in the woods. Jon has a lot of diverse interests: cheese making, woodworking, cooking, AT skiing. He has conservatively made over 400 pizzas during the Pandemic. He has strong bonds in Italy, with both people and places, as he had the distinction of Staff Architect for Poggio Civitate Archeological Excavations for many years. Maine is his birthplace and home to extended family.
